Emerald Lakes (Long Pond (Tobyhanna Township, Tunkhannock Township and Pocono Township), PA 18334)
Emerald Lakes in vacation community rich in amenities including a beach area, indoor pool, community center with scheduled activities. Owners are allowed to rent their properties in Emerald Lakes and register their guests with the management office. Guest are expected to follow the same rules and regulations as the owners. A small section of Emerald Lakes is in Tunkhannock Township, most is in Tobyhanna Township. Tobyhanna Township recently imposed a cap on the number of short term rentals licenses and due to the uncertainties surrounding license issuance, caution is advised when purchasing in Tobyhanna Township. NOTE: There is a very small section of Emerald Lakes in Pocono Township where STR is not allowed. These are home to the east of Interstate 380.
